The spent rail panels were loaded just as they came from the ballast and we trundled off to Stourbridge at a very leisurely rate, primarily because the panels of track were not secured to the flat wagons. Dunno how many panels were replaced but it took a 47 and two 25 diesels to haul the train which had 3 guards!
